Biography
Root Marm Chicken Farm is a band from Lincoln, Nebraska, who play a wide variety of American Roots Music, from Traditional Folk and Classic Country & Western, to Blues, Bluegrass, and Rock & Roll. The band got its start over a decade ago, as a jug band (playing a variety of household objects, like jugs and washboards, along with kazoos, harmonicas and other more traditional instruments). The band has gone through many iterations over the years, and has built up an eclectic repertoire of songs from a variety of genres. Today, the touring band consists of four multi-instrumentalists, Ian Egenberger, Ash Sharp, Caleb
Long and Joe Fraas, who all take turns leading songs and switching roles in the band.
