The Hispanic Art Center of Omaha is a vital cultural organization in Nebraska dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Hispanic and Latino artistic traditions. The center operates with a specific focus on community expression and artistic development within the region. We are the largest Ballet Folklórico dance group in the Midwest.

Grupo Folklórico Sangre Azteca brings cultural enrichment to the good people of Nebraska, through Mexican Folkloric Dance performances. Our organization educates young people in the heritage and tradition of their ancestors and they share it with family, friends and the community.

Established in 2013, their musical journey has extended far beyond the heart of Omaha, NE. They’ve had the privilege of sharing our melodies in various parts of the U.S, as well as enchanting audiences in diverse locations such as Mexico and Puerto Rico. Their versatility is a hallmark of their performances, as they seamlessly transition between English and Spanish, ensuring a rich and inclusive musical experience for all. Join them on this melodic expedition as they continue to share the universal language of music.

Belleza de Nuestra Tierra is a folk-dance group from Kearney with members of all ages and backgrounds. Our mission is to share our culture through the beauty of dance, traditional costumes, and music.

Latin show with rhythms from different countries: salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton, conga and mambo, presented by dancers from 3 years old to 55 years old adults, full of energy, flavor, and joy.

 

8:00 PM

Alfredo Herrera – “El Cachanilla” is a singer/songwriter who sings Mexican music for all people to enjoy. He sings Mariachi, Norteno, and Banda music and has different outfits that match the music he is singing.
