Parade Route

Due to ongoing construction on the Fonner Park grounds, we will continue to utilize the parade route devised in 2024. This route can be found at the link below.

Parade Guidelines

• Handing out candy, promotional literature, or any other items is allowed, as long as it does not slow down the parade. Throwing items of any kind is forbidden.
• In order to keep the parade moving at a steady pace, no entries will be allowed to stop.
• Entries must complete the entire parade route.
• Entries with animals are responsible for cleaning up after them.
• Helmets are required for all-terrain vehicles and motorcycles.
• All entries, including paid entries, must provide an entertainment value to the parade.
• The fair is a family-oriented entity. Profanity and inappropriate content will not be tolerated in the staging area or along the parade route. NSF has the right to remove any entry or participant who displays this type of conduct.
• NSF reserves the right to request a photo or sketch of any entry.
• NSF reserves the right to deny participation to any entry that does not abide by these guidelines. Parade participation is at the discretion of NSF.
• Parade entries that are of a commercial nature and entered by businesses (excluding vendors of the 2026 NSF) are required to pay a $200 entry fee per parade. Not-for-profit organizations are exempt from this fee.
• Entries and participants agree to the Color Guard Policy for Nebraska State Fair Celebration Parades (see attached document).

The Nebraska State Fair reserves the right to limit the number of units and participants.
