The Nebraska State Fair invites your K-6th grade students to attend Nebraska’s Largest Classroom at the 2026 fair. Nebraska’s Largest Classroom is a special educational event which operates as a self-guided tour of the fairgrounds. Over 3,000 students, teachers, and sponsors participated in the event in 2025! 

Nebraska’s Largest Classroom will be offered on Friday, August 28, Tuesday, September 1, and Wednesday, September 2. Admission is FREE for K-6th grade students. The Nebraska State Fair will provide complimentary gate admission for one teacher. Additional adults will be required to purchase gate admission tickets. Gate admission is free on opening Friday, $3 a person on Tuesday for the fair’s special three-dollar-Tuesday deal, and $12 a person on Wednesday. If your school has special needs, please contact our office. Friday’s free admission is only good for gate entry before 12:00 pm. Check-in will be from 8:30 am to 10:15 am, but you may enter the main gate until 1:00 pm. 

As indicated above, this year we are showcasing Nebraska’s Largest Classroom in three full days of fun. Each school will have the choice of Friday, August 28, Tuesday, September 1, or Wednesday, September 2. Please choose which day works best for your school! There will be a limited amount of space available each day. Registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. To verify homeschool validity, please include the school’s most recent exempt homeschool acknowledgement letter from the Department of Education. If you do not have a copy of this, please contact the office. More information will be provided mid-summer, so it is important that you provide us with a contact person and their contact information. Largest classroom materials will be sent in July or early August. If you require additional tickets after registering, please reach out to the office as soon as possible.
