Nebraska State Fair is preparing to announce performers for this summer’s Nebraska Lottery Concert Series and there are big bonuses for those who purchase early (within the first two weeks). Those bonuses include either a great reserved seat or price discount.
There are at least two announcements scheduled in December. The first Show is scheduled to be released December 5.
“I’m excited for what the team is bringing to the 2024 Nebraska State Fair,” said State Fair Executive Director Jaime Parr. “Our announcements and ticket sales are a bit different this year. We will announce individual acts as the deals are complete. Ticket sales will begin within days after the announcement and the absolute best time to buy will be within the first 14 days of each on sale.”
“The Fair has already locked in three diverse shows for the 2024 event,” Karli Schulz, State Fair Events and Entertainment Director shared the first announced musical genres include hip hop, country, a TikTok star, Classic Country, and Contemporary Christian music. Announcements and ticket sales will be roughly two weeks apart.
Save up to 35% when buying early
The 2024 State Fair will also offer substantial savings on outdoor concerts. “We are offering an early bird buying discount for outdoor shows,” said Schulz. “The first two weeks of ticket sales are THE BEST time to buy. Outdoor, festival-style shows will have tickets at up to 35% discount in the first two weeks. For the indoor shows, securing reserved seats in your preferred viewing area is a great reward for buying early.”
Nebraska State Fair is planning seven national concerts for the 2024
event. The Indoor Concerts will be held inside Heartland Events Center. Outdoor Shows will be in the newly renovated Anderson Field, located in the Fair’s Grand District.
Something for everyone
Parr said the plan is to have shows that appeal to many different groups of people. “We understand that not everyone will be a fan of every act we announce,” said Parr. “It is our intent to offer something for all Concertgoers. If you are not a fan of the first couple announcements, be patient, there are more great shows to come” If you ARE a fan of the first Show/s announced, then be sure to BUY EARLY!
With a theme of All Roads Lead to Fun, the 2024 Nebraska State Fair runs August 23-September 2, 2024 at Fonner Park in Grand Island. The fair has drawn more than 4 million visitors to its new home in Grand Island since 2010.
