Free Shuttles + Free Parking at the Fair
Note: Main Gate parking is on the west side of the grounds (left side of the map). ADA ONLY parking is available through Gate 6 off Fonner Park Road (top of map, by the ferris wheel icon). There is additional parking to the east of the grounds (right side of the map) – Lubbe Lot East is the name of this lot and it’s located off Fonner Park and Stuhr Road.

As we ramp up for another 11-day run, the Nebraska State Fair is reminding guests that all visitors can still look forward to free parking on the Fonner Park Campus and off-site shuttle service during the Nebraska State Fair.
State Fair Marketing Director, Courtney Glock, says on-site parking is available off South Locust and State Fair Boulevard, which encompasses over 4,000 stalls for patrons, including a NEWLY PAVED lot on the north side of State Fair Boulevard.
“In addition to the ample space offered on the west side of the campus, there is additional parking in the Lubbe East Lot at the corner of Fonner Park Road and Stuhr Road,” said Glock. “Fair guests who park on grounds can take a tram that routinely sweeps through the parking lots, to move guests from their vehicle to the gate, something we see as added convenience for guests of all ages.”
For those who prefer off-site parking, free shuttle buses will be available from Sam’s Club at the top of every hour.
“Our large shuttles will provide quick and easy transportation to and from the Fonner Park campus and will run from 9 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. with the exception of longer hours on concert nights, and an early close (7 p.m.) on Labor Day” said Glock.

On-Site trams
We know the Fair offers a lot of flat-surface walking and ability to explore. We are glad to offer a couple of different options to help folks get to and from the attractions they wish to see
Tractor-drawn trams travel around the grounds and allow guests to hop on and off at any designated tram stop. In addition to ADA lifts on the trams, guests needing a ride can visit any Information Kiosk that is staffed with a Volunteer in a yellow shirt. These volunteers can call for a courtesy golf cart shuttle for you.
We also offer parking lot trams that help get you from your vehicle, to the main gate.
Please note that unless it’s an identified emergency, golf carts can not transport guests to their cars. They must remain inside the gate.

NOTE: During the Fair, you will need to have an admission ticket scanned at the gate in order to access our Administration Office or Box Office.
Once in the gate, you can find both of these offices inside the Nebraska Building.
