2026 Fair-Tastic Friday

The Nebraska State Fair wants to provide an experience that is safe, fun, and inclusive for all! Join us on Friday, September 4th for our fourth ever Fair-Tastic Friday! The Nebraska State Fair will provide a sensory-friendly environment for individuals of any age with physical or developmental disabilities. This event will include a resource fair for parents and caretakers to discover resourceful organizations in the community from 10am – 2pm along with other sensory friendly activities throughout the afternoon. Those who register will receive a link to buy discounted $6 tickets for caretaker(s) and their special guest(s). Each registrant will be entered into a raffle to win some awesome prizes! Please purchase discounted tickets and fill out the registration form below by August, 15th 2026. 

Remarkable Rodeo

This FREE adaptive rodeo event is open to children with physical and mental exceptionalities. They are invited to participate in simulated rodeo events, while accompanied by a cowboy. Walkers and wheelchairs are allowed in the arena.

Adaptive Horse Show

The Nebraska State Fair and Opportune Acres is teaming up to ensure every individual as the opportunity to participate in State Fair programs and events! We will make every effort to ensure all individuals can participate. Riding will be evaluated on an individual basis.

Are you registering for an organization?
We recommend a 1:1 ratio of caretakers to guests based on ADA guidelines.

Registration will include $6 tickets. Once we have recieved the completed registration form, we will provide you with a link to purchase your tickets at the discounted rate.  Tickets must be purchased before August 15th, 2026 to recieve the discounted rate.
