From Raw to Ready

A Food Safety Adventure is an interactive tabletop activity that introduces participants to food science concepts related to meat safety through three hands-on stations. Participants explore models of foodborne bacteria, simulate food testing using pipettes and Petrifilm like food scientists, and match cooked meats with safe cooking temperatures to learn how food science helps ensure food safety from raw to ready.
