Biography
Sherwin Linton, a legendary country and rockabilly entertainer whose career marks 70 years in 2026. He began as a teenage radio performer in South Dakota which lead to national success with chart hits, Grand Ole Opry performances, and Grammy-nominated recordings. Best known for songs like “Cotton King,” “Hello, I’m Not Johnny Cash,” and the holiday favorite “Santa Got A DWI,” Sherwin has recorded more than 27 albums and performed across the U.S. and Canada. His remarkable career and contributions to American roots music were honored in the acclaimed 2015 PBS documentary Forever On The Stage. Sherwin is joined on stage by his wife Pam Linton an Americana and traditional country vocalist known for her heartfelt delivery, expressive storytelling, and deep respect for the roots of American music. Pam has spent more than four decades preserving the legacy of classic country, folk, and Gospel music through recordings, live performances, and historical tribute projects including her acclaimed album Songs of the Carter Family. A member of the National Traditional Country Music Hall of Fame, Pam is celebrated for her soulful vocals, artistry, and dedication to keeping traditional American music alive for new generations. Sherwin and Pam are backed by their dynamic band “The Cotton Kings.”
