Do you think your call deserves more than your chickens’ attention? Do you have a rooster crow impression that could be mistaken for the real thing? Then this is the right competition for you! Join us September 6th, time TBD, for the first ever Nebraska State Fair Chicken Calling & Rooster Crowing Contest!

Registration for this event is FREE and comes with one free ticket for gate admission for participants. Please submit the form below by August 15th to register. Both competitions are separated by a youth division (10-17 years) and an adult division (18+). 

CHICKEN CALLING: Participants will be given two chances to do their chicken call; judges will judge chicken call on a variety of factors. Winners in each division will be awarded.

ROOSTER CROWING: Participants will be given two chances to do their best rooster crow impression. Judges will judge rooster crow on a variety of factors. Winners in each division will be awarded.
