The Nebraska State Fair is accepting nominations for our 2026 Grand Marshals. We are asking for nominations of individuals who have positively impacted their community in Nebraska to be honored at the fair. If you are interested in nominating an individual for the 2026 Nebraska State Fair, please complete the form below by May 30th, 2026. Please note that Nebraska State Fair and 1868 Foundation staff and board members are not eligible. Those chosen as Grand Marshals will be recognized an entire day of the Nebraska State Fair. They will participate in a parade by riding in the 2026 Grand Marshal vehicle, attend a reception in their honor, and receive 10 complimentary gate passes to share with family and friends. 

If your nominee is selected, we will notify you and the person you have nominated to provide further details regarding their day at the fair and request their availability. Note that our Grand Marshal program will only take place from August 28nd to August 30th, and September 5th to September 7th. The Nebraska State Fair is the largest entertainment event in the state. The 11-day event offers hundreds of exhibits, live entertainment stages, concerts, food vendors, the largest livestock show in the state, a fun-filled Family Fun Zone, parades, marching bands, and more.
