Grand Island, NE – The 2010 Nebraska State Fair will not only feature many new and exciting activities, attractions and tasty treats but it will also feature a redesigned livestock schedule. The redesign focuses on a family friendly approach to the exhibition plan. Families will be stalled together and the schedule will allow for them to be at the fair at the same time.
At the same time it results in a more extensive schedule for the benefit of the many fair patrons, providing for livestock exhibits to be visible for the run of the 11 day fair.
The fair will feature new livestock facilities with very modern amenities that will provide a premium show atmosphere for exhibitors. The exhibitors will be treated to a climate controlled arena, new expansive wash racks, along with an abundant supply of electricity, water and stalling. This environment will prove to be an inviting one for exhibitors and fair guests alike.
The schedules are now available on the Nebraska State Fair website, www.statefair.org and under the Entry Books/Form tab. Please contact Jana Hafer at jhafer@statefair.org or 308-382-1620 with questions.
The 141st edition of the Nebraska State Fair opens Friday, August 27 and runs through Monday, September 6, 2010 at the Fair’s new home at Fonner Park in Grand Island, NE. For more information on the Nebraska State Fair, visit www.statefair.org.
