Five Dollar Days (13 years & older) - $5
On Monday, August 25, and Wednesday, August 27, adult gate admission will be $5. The $5 adult gate admission admits (1) one adult., who is 13 years or older, for (1) day. This ticket may only be purchased at the gate, on $5 discount day. The $5 gate tickets are not valid August 22 through August 24 or August 28 - September 1, 2014
Two Dollar Tuesday - $2
On Tuesday, August 26, adult and child gate admission will be $2. The $2 gate admission admits (1) one adult or (1) one child, for (1) one day. This ticket may only be purchases at the gate, on Tuesday, August 26. The $2 gate tickets are not valid on August 22-25 or August 27- September 1.
Season Pass Gate Admission - $55
The Season Admission Pass is valid from August 22 through September 1, 2014. The Season Admission Pass is one ticket which will allow (1) one person (1) one entry for all (11) eleven days of the Fair.
County Fair Day
Saturday, August 30
County Fairs across the state, giving them the opportunity to be recognized and to showcase their Fair. There is no registration cost to participate in County Fair Day.

Established in 1989, the Nebraska State Fair 1868 Foundation is dedicated to the growth and support of the Nebraska State Fair. The purpose of the Nebraska State Fair 1868 Foundation is to raise funds for the overall improvement of the Nebraska State Fair. Join the Nebraska State Fair 1868 Foundation and continue the winning tradition of education, competition and celebration. Young or old, Nebraskans have gained from their State Fair experiences and have used new knowledge, skills, talents, and creativity throughout their lives!

Nebraska's Largest Classroom Presented by John Deere
Monday, August 25, Tuesday, August 26, & Thursday, August 28
Nebraska's Largest Classroom is a self-guided field trip where students and teachers have the opportunity to enjoy hundreds of exhibits, view entertainment at every turn, and learn about Nebraska. Public and home schools are invited to participate in Nebraska's Largest Classroom and must pre-register. Admission is FREE for K-6th grade students, teachers, sponsors, and bus drivers.
The Nebraska State Fair offers a lunch program for Nebraska's Largest Classroom participants. Lunch will be available from 11:30 am to 1:00 p.m. Last year's lunch cost $2 and consisted of a hot dog, bag of chips, fruit, dessert, and beverage. Advance registration for the lunch program is required. Lunch registrations will not be accepted the day of Nebraska's Largest Classroom.
Registration for the 2014 Nebraska's Largest Classroom is now closed. Please, check back in 2015 to participate.

Older Nebraskan's Day
Wednesday, August 27
The festival is provided for seniors 60 years and older and includes Health, Wellness and Information booths, and two concerts. For more information click here.
Gate admission is $5
Friday, August 22
Join us as we celebrate the beginning of the 2014 Nebraska State Fair. There will be special recognition of our volunteers and milestone partners.
Gate admission will be FREE until noon that day.
Nebraska Cattlemen's Day

The Nebraska State Fair will host the second annual Nebraska Cattleman’s Day in cooperation with the Nebraska Cattlemen Association and the Sandhills Cattle Association. This day celebrates the Nebraska Beef Industry. Tickets to Nebraska Cattleman’s Day barbeque are available through the Nebraska Cattlemen, The Sandhills Cattle Association or by calling the fair office at 308.384.0624.

For the past 100 years, UNL Extension has been making a difference in the lives of Nebraskans. To help us commemorate this event, Extension is hosting an Centennial Open House in the Raising Nebraska Building on August 30th, 2014 from 1-5 pm. Join us for a special presentation and ice cream social at 2:30 pm to help us celebrate this special occasion.

Veterans Day Celebration Presented by Harley-Davidson Central

Honoring ALL MILITARY SERVICE MEN and WOMEN who are serving and/or have served for our country including a special recognition of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom Veterans.
Gate admission is FREE, all day, for personnel with appropriate identification.
(Example: Military ID, VA ID Card, VA Medical Card, Veterans Organization Membership Card, Discharge Papers, etc.)

A very emotional exhibit, “Remembering Our Fallen,” is a sad reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by over 80 Nebraskans killed in The War on Terror while wearing our country’s uniform in Afghanistan or Iraq. The exhibit will be located in the Nebraska Building.
