High School Marching Bands Exhibition
The Nebraska State Fair encourages and welcomes all high school bands across the state to be a part of the 2012 Nebraska State Fair. This is the perfect opportunity for high schools to showcase their hard work and dedication. Marching Band performances occur daily throughout the grounds.

County Fair Day Parade
Saturday, August 27, 2011County Fairs and Ag Societies are encouraged to design a float to enter in the daily parade. The County Fair Day Parade will take place at 6:00p.m. on County Fair Day. The day is a celebration of the County Fairs across the state and floats should be designed to showcase your County Fair.

Daily ParadesThe Nebraska State Fair offers daily parades in celebration of Nebraska's economics, education, and entertainment. The parades have floats, company mascots, animals, motor vehicles, tractors, carriages, specialty vehicles, wagons, entertainers, and so much more. Don't miss the daily parades at 6:00pm each evening. EXCEPTIONS: Friday, August 26 Opening Parade is at 5:00p.m. The Veterans Day Parade on Monday, August 29 and the Labor Day Parade on Monday, September 5, will occur at 2:00p.m.

Draft Horse Parade - September 3 & 4

- A special parade with our Draft Horses, it will be from the Welcome Center to the East Entertainment Area.

Mascot Appearance

We invite Mascots to be a part of the 142nd Nebraska State Fair. School, non-profit, and company mascots are welcome! Mascots can perform, stroll around the grounds, and entertain fair goers.

Parade Grand Marshals
Those chosen as Grand Marshals will receive recognition, ride in the Grand Marshal vehicle one of the daily State Fair parades, receive 10 complimentary gate passes, and a reception in their honor.

Drill and Cheer Teams Exhibition
Drill and cheer teams are invited to participate in a program similar to the well-established Marching Band Exhibition program. Drill and cheer teams will stroll the grounds, along a predetermined path, to perform at designated performance areas. They will also participate in a performance on our outdoor ertainment stage, along with the other drill and cheer teams in attendance that day.
