Display will hightlight the Precision Farming product line offered by Case IH. Providing an overview of the potential return on investment that customers an achieve by putting Case IH precisionfarming products to work on their farm.

Children have the opportunity to experience farming first-had with Case IH Pedal Combines and Pedal Tractors in the tent.

Children can get registered with the state identification program brought to you by the Nebraska Freemasons. The program will be available from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Cornhusker Fly Fishers

August 28th & 29th from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Kidz Zone

Ever wanted to learn how to fly fish? Now's your chance! Learn how to tie fishing flies onto lines and presentations throughout the day to help kids lern how to cast a fly fishing rod.

View the largest collection of horse-drawn carriages and stagecoaches in the country!  Collector Bill Baasch will be showcasing his collection of 33 antique wagons,carriages and stagecoaches.

PEPSI MAX NASCAR Simulator brought to you by your Grand Island HyVee

4-H& FFA Building

Experience the thrill of a race car with the PEPSI MAX NASCAR Simulator! This Top End Racing simulator is an actual race car that has been specially modified for a computer simulation, so the driver has all of the excitement of racing in an actual race car. This is the race car the pro’s train in! The car reacts to the drivers' action.

  • The car reacts to the drivers' action.
  • Turn the steering wheel to follow the track.
  • Brake and you will slow down.
  • Step on the gas and you accelerate.
  • Steering has full force feed back along with seat vibration.

Monitors are set up outside for viewing equipped with screen on screen displaying for both driver and spectator.

Recycled Planters

Throughout the Marketplace

Enjoy the Recycled Garden constructed of planters made from recycled objects. Creative and green kids are invited to participate by constructing a planter of their own. Some planters might include tires, barrels, grills, mailboxes, or other unique containers! The planters will help brighten up the State Fair! The deadline for registering planters is Friday, August 6th!

Stuhr Museum

Kidz Zone

All the fun of Stuhr Museum’s 1890’s Living History Railroad Town comes to the Nebraska State Fair. The museum that brings the story of Nebraska’s first towns to life feature dozens of hands-on, historical and artistic activities in the State Fair’s Kids Zone, including live blacksmithing, coloring, word games, stilts and period children's games. Wells Fargo Stagecoach

August 27-29th, East Exhibit Area

In 1852, Henry Wells and William Fargo founded Wells Fargo & Co. to provide reliable banking and express transportation service to miners, merchants and settlers in communities across the American frontier.  Wells Fargo agents helped pioneers exchange their gold dust for coin and safely send funds to distant places. Wells Fargo handled valuable shipments using the fastest transportation available: stagecoach, steamship, or railroad. For more history on the Wells Fargo Stagecoach, click here.

Come see the amazing Wells Fargo Stagecoach and it's team of horses on display. The stagecoach will also be present in the daily parades on August 27th, 28th and 29th.
