Carnival and Rides

The Nebraska State Fair has one of the largest and famous midways in the state.  There’s something for everyone at the Mighty Bluegrass Shows Midway including thrill rides, family rides, children rides, food, and games of skill.

Rides:

The midway is home of major rides and attractions designed for the little kid in us all. Thrills, laughter, and excitement will happen when riding one of the vast arrays of rides located at the Nebraska State Fair.  The midway has three types of rides, which include thrill rides, family rides, and children rides.

Games:

The Mighty Bluegrass Shows has an excellent variety of midway games of skill.  From the Bust-A-Balloon to the Wacky Water Race, the midway has it all!  Mighty Bluegrass Shows believe in fair midway games and many of the games can be played until won.

Food:

The Mighty Bluegrass Shows has a wide range of food to satisfy anyone’s taste buds including cotton candy, caramel apples, candy apples, snow cones, cold drinks, popcorn, corn dogs, hot dogs, hamburgers, caramel corn, super ropes, lemonade, soft pretzels, and much more!

Carnival Safety:

At the Mighty Bluegrass Shows, safety is a top priority.  In addition to mandatory state inspections of equipment, Mighty Bluegrass Shows also conduct daily safety checks on each ride.  Before the ride is opened to the public, the foreman of that particular ride will go through every part with a safety checklist, making sure everything is in place and ready to go.  In the off-season, each ride is extensively evaluated and electrical, cosmetics, and design improvements are made if needed.

Hours:

The midway is open from 5:00 pm to close on Friday, August 28, 2009. During the weekdays, the midway is open from 1:00 pm to close. On Saturdays, Sundays, and Labor Day, the midway is open from 11:00 am to close.
