Part-Time, Temporary Positions

General Maintenance Position

Assist with moving supplies and hardware around the fairgrounds. Perform general maintenance around the fairgrounds before, during and directly after the Fair. Morning, day, evening and overnight hours will be required. Must be 19 years of age to apply. $12-14 per hour based on experience. Gate Attendant

Greet Fair patrons. Handle money and make change for gate admissions. Sell and take gate tickets. Balance cash drawers. Need to be able to stand for hours at a time with breaks. Part-time position scheduled for mid-August until several days after the Fair. Morning, day and evening hours. Must be 19 years of age to apply. Pay: $9-11 per hour.

Concessions and Beverages Personnel

Assist with food preparation. Handle money and make change for food items. Balance a cash drawer. Fulfill food orders. Bartend and stock bar supplies. Previous bartending, concession or wait staff experience is preferred. Part-time position scheduled for mid-August until several days after the Fair. Morning, day and evening hours. Must be 19 years of age to apply. Pay to be determined.

Cleaning Crew Member

General cleaning of the fairgrounds including picking up trash, emptying trash receptacles, sweeping, mopping and cleaning restrooms.  Assist with recycling and receptacle clean-up and organization. Part-time position scheduled for mid-August until several days after the Fair. Morning, day, evening and night hours. Must be 19 years of age to apply. Pay: $8-10 per hour.

Parking Attendants

Assist with parking cars and organizing parking lots. Ability to stand for hours at a time with breaks. Part-time position scheduled for mid-August until several days after the Fair. Morning, day and evening hours. Must be 19 years of age to apply. Pay to be determined.
